An inspiring day, exciting conversations, and lots of new ideas—what a mountX summit!
On September 17, 2026, customers, partners, and IT decision-makers gathered at the Falkensteiner Schlosshotel Velden for the mountX Summit. It was a day filled with practical insights and fresh ideas, and it marked a special moment for our team.
During the summit, Daniel Greile, founder and partner of mountX GmbH, was inducted as a senator into the Senate of the Economy.
Our decision to join the SENATE OF THE ECONOMY is a deliberate step for us. Just as in our client projects, we are convinced that sustainable success can only be achieved through collaboration and on an equal footing. By applying the best-practice approaches we’ve developed through our client projects, we aim to share knowledge, provide companies with the best possible support on their journey, and thus actively contribute to a sustainable economy. Engaging with other decision-makers offers a valuable opportunity to learn from one another and generate new ideas.

Three Companies, Three Ways to More Efficient Service
The focus was on real-world experiences. Three companies demonstrated how they have further developed their service management.
Energie Steiermark AG: From Individual Lists to the Business Services View
In collaboration with mountX, Energie Steiermark has consolidated scattered individual lists into a comprehensive business services overview. For companies in the critical infrastructure sector, this transparency is crucial because it is the only way to effectively manage the risk of outages.
KNAPP AG:AI in Customer Support: A Concrete Example
KNAPP AG presented specific AI use cases from its own support environment. The message was clear: In the service sector, AI is no longer a topic for the future, but a tangible lever for increased productivity.
Ottakringer Getränke AG: New Service Desk and Devices Under Control
Ottakringer Getränke AG reported on how it has restructured its service desk. It also demonstrated how it now manages all IT equipment in the company throughout its entire lifecycle.
Keynote: Resilience as a Leadership Principle
The highlight of the event was the keynote address by Dr. Lara Vadlau. She is an Olympic champion from Paris 2024, as well as a world and European champion in sailing.
She spoke candidly about how she fought her way back to the top of the world rankings from the lowest point in her career. Her experiences with setbacks, perseverance, and self-confidence can be directly applied to business leadership and transformation projects. Many guests carried this insight with them into the discussions that followed.
Outlook: Save the Date 2027
After the summit is before the summit: The next mountX summit will take place on 16. September 2027 once again at Velden Castle on Lake Wörthersee.
