ClearPass
The ClearPass Extension connects Aruba ClearPass directly to Matrix42, enabling the automated import of ClearPass endpoints into your asset management. Endpoints are automatically matched to the corresponding computer assets and network cards based on their MAC address. Via the Self Service Portal, new endpoints can also be provisioned on demand – documented through an automatically closed Change for a complete audit log.
Description
The ClearPass Extension creates a direct connection between Aruba ClearPass and Matrix42. Endpoints are imported automatically and linked to the matching computer assets and network cards via their MAC address, providing a consistent data foundation in your asset management.
The extension also enables automatic provisioning of new ClearPass endpoints through the Self Service Portal. Users can select a computer or network card, or enter the MAC address manually – the endpoint is then created in ClearPass, and the entire process is documented in a Change that closes automatically once provisioning is complete.
