cora Connect

Description

cora Connect enables a seamless link between Matrix and the cora machine, providing full API access to the cora API. It can be used within workflows or as a Matrix web service, allowing automated processes, efficient data exchange, and centralized management between both systems.

Installation & scope of the extension

The cora package can be installed via the Extension Gallery.

After successful installation, a new navigation item labeled “cora Settings” will be added to the administration interface, and separate workflow activities will be available in Workflow Studio under the category “mountX”. In addition, web services will be set up, which can be found under “Integration > Web Services” with the name “cora.”

TIP: In some cases, it may be necessary to log out and log back in after installation so that the new navigation item is displayed correctly.

Configuration

Configuration is carried out via the “cora Settings” navigation item in the administration area. First, a new object must be created in this area. Then, the required parameters must be entered in the designated input fields.

Once all the necessary information has been entered, the configuration is saved. This applies the settings and prepares the system for further use.

Use in Workflow Studio

Once installation is complete, a new category will be available in Workflow Studio within the Workflow Activities. This category is called “mountX”.

The “Cora” folder within this category contains all Cora workflow activities. These activities can be selected there and integrated into new or existing workflows. This means that the advanced functions of the cora package are available directly in Workflow Studio.

Variable types

To define variable types for the new activities in the workflow, select the “Browse Type” option in Workflow Studio. All available variable types are listed under the path MountX > Cora > Core. If you are unsure which type is required for a particular activity, you can find the information directly in the corresponding variable for the activity.
